Marina Coruña Sailing school
Our mission at Marina Coruña Sailing School is to make sailing fun for all our participants.
Beyond training future champions, we want to instil what is most important to us, values such as teamwork, respect, responsibility, humility and care for what gives us life: the ocean.

Our ambassador “Chuny” (Roberto Bermúdez de Castro) besides representing the elite of international sailing with, among many others, a Volvo Ocean Race in his pocket, is the director of Marina Coruña and our sailing school.
We have an idyllic place to begin and progress in learning to sail.
Unbeatable conditions: our estuary receives all kinds of winds and, when these are intense, the breakwater offers adequate shelter. An estuary from which several champions have already emerged and which is guarded by the Tower of Hercules, the oldest active Roman lighthouse in world.
We have boats of the FI550 type, a boat of 5.50 metres in length that can sail up to 16 knots of wind.
Easy to handle and perfect for progressing in this sport.

GROUPS
- Youth: from 8 to 17 years old.
- Adults: 18 or more years old.
- Family Sailing: possibility of doing a family group, regardless of age.
- Sailing with friends: possibility to do a group with your friends, regardless of age groups.
* For us, less is more, and in order to guarantee the quality of learning, we establish a maximum of 4 people/boat.
LEVELS
- Sea baptism: 1 day (a 4-hour day in which you will learn all the basic principles and safety for beginners in sailing).
- Beginners I
- Beginners II
- Advanced I
* The levels are determined by our qualified instructors.
MODALITIES AND TIMETABLE
- Sailing school (morning timetable): 10.00h to 14.00h.
- Sailing school (afternoon timetable): 16.00h to 20.00h.
*Monday to Friday (morning and afternoon). Saturday and Sunday (morning).
REQUIREMENTS
- Be 8 years old or older.
- Know how to swim.

We have adjusted rates as well as vouchers adapted to any situation.

Sailing camp
Sail, windsurf, knot workshop. The RFGV licence is compulsory for all participants of any activity. Annual licence 16€ (required for courses of more than 15 hours) not included in the price. Weekly licence 6€.
