PER privilegesWhat the qualification allows you to do
The Recreational Boat Skipper qualification authorises you to skipper recreational boats and personal watercraft within the limits established by the licence.
Up to 15 metres
Skipper recreational boats of up to 15 metres in length.
Personal watercraft
This qualification also authorises you to operate personal watercraft.
Up to 12 nautical miles
Navigation up to 12 nautical miles from any port, marina or place of shelter.
Day and night
Allows both daytime and night-time navigation.

Theoretical examination
45 questions, or 18 if you already hold the PNB (Basic Recreational Boating Licence).

Navigation practical sessions
16 hours of practical motorboat training using the school's boats.

Radio operator
12-hour theoretical and practical short range radio operator course.

Morning schedule
Sailing school from 10:00 to 14:00.

Monday to Friday, morning and afternoon.

Saturday and Sunday, in the morning.
